Volunteer

House of Hope welcomes local clubs, youth groups, Bible studies, and other organizations to organize fundraisers such as bake sales, pop can drives, quilt sales, and concerts. Groups are also invited to do work projects such as painting, gardening, and yard work.

House of Hope also relies on the support of dedicated individuals who volunteer their time in a variety of aspects of the ministry. These areas include:

  • Administration:
    Office assistance, typing, filing, phoning, data entry, newsletter, mailing
  • Event Coordinating:
    Plan and/or participate in fundraising events community events, and other special events.
  • Grants & Fundraising:
    Assist committees
  • Facilities & Maintenance:
    Assist with maintenance of House of Hope facility and grounds
  • Construction:
    Drywall, plumbing/heating, cabinetry, brick layer/masonry, electrician, excavation, landscaping
  • Prayer:
    Group/individual prayer ministry
  • School:
    Tutoring students
  • Mentoring:
    Partner, witness, encourage, and build self-esteem with youth
