Start with a new game. Select Song of the Dark Swan on Expert difficulty. Feel free to skip the opening cutscene.

The Bedroom

Right from the beginning pick-up the green Travel Bag in the middle of the floor.

In the back center of the room, there is a chest. Above it on a support beam, there is a dragon emblem. Pick it up. This is your first Healer Sigil (1/31). This will unlock your first achievement:

  • Health Inspector

    Found a Healer's Sigil.

Over on the right in the back of the room is a table. There is a silver plate on the table. Press Guide for Grim Legends 2: Song of the Dark Swan (6) and use the Travel Bag, then an option will appear to walk up to it with Guide for Grim Legends 2: Song of the Dark Swan (7). Do so.

You will be on a new screen. Press Guide for Grim Legends 2: Song of the Dark Swan (8) on the following to complete the puzzle:

You will also need to pick up the matches circled in grey, and light the candle circled in grey. Some objects may require two clicks since they are behind other objects.

This will award you with the Magnifying Glass and an achievement:

  • Surgical Aim

    You finished any Hidden Object Puzzle with less than 4 mistakes.

Next, open the chest in the back.

Interact with the clown doll, the duster and the red cloth underneath them to get the Gobblet.

Back out of the chest and talk with the creepy lady in the doorway that's been staring at you the whole time. She will ask you nicely to follow her. Do so, which will take you to the Palatial Room.

Palatial Room

Right above the fireplace in the back-left of the room is an Empty Pitcher and a chest. Zoom in on this and grab the Empty Pitcher.

Zoom in on the queen's face (the lady on your right). Interact with her eye and use the Magnifying Glass we got in the previous room. Your character will mention something about an odd rash being on her hands.

The queen will now be gone, and where she was standing will be a Healer Sigil (2/31).

Now go back to the bedroom.

The Bedroom

There is a bucket of water on the left side of the table. Use the Empty Pitcher we got in the Palatial Room with it, filling the pitcher.

Then walk up to the table on the right side of the room again, the same table you solved the first puzzle at.

Do the following:

  • Use the pitcher of water with the silver plater on the left.
  • Grab a match and light it. Then use that on the black cauldron.
  • Grab the green liquid in beaker 5.
  • Grab beaker 5 and use it on beaker 3.
  • Grab beaker 5 and pour it into the black cauldron.
  • Grab the Pitcher of Water and use it on beaker 3.
  • Grab beaker 3 and pour it into beaker 5.
  • Fill beaker 3 again and pour it into beaker 5 again.
  • Grab beaker 5 and pour it down the drain (just below beaker 5).
  • Grab beaker 3 and pour it into beaker 5.
  • Fill beaker 3 and pour it into beaker 5 again.
  • Grab the herbs (above the cauldron) and use them on beaker 5.
  • Use beaker 5 with the herbs in it on the cauldron.
  • Grab the ladle and use it on the cauldron.
  • Use the cauldron with the Goblet.

This should get you the Calming Brew and you will also unlock:

  • Keep Calm

Go back to the Palatial Room.

Palatial Room

Go to the Queen's Chambers (door on the right side of the room).

Skip the cutscene.

You will be back in the Palatial Room. The baby will be gone and the creepy lady will be sitting on the couch. Use the Calming Brew on her.

After some dialogue, zoom in on her right hand and take the gold trinket from her (this is the Axe Medallion).

Zoom in on the chest above the fireplace (where you got the glass pitcher before).

Use the Axe Medallion on the chest This will open the chest. Take the Hatchet sitting inside it. Back out and exam the door on the right (Queen's Chambers).

Use the Hatchet with the door which will open the door.

Enter the Queen's Quarters.

Queen's Quarters

Skip the cutscene.

On the back wall just to the right of the back-right bedpost is a Healer's Sigil (3/31).

Zoom in on the queen laying on the ground and then interact with the green amulet in her hand. You will check her pulse. Zoom on the amulet now and take it. You now have the Dark Magic Amulet.

In the back of the room on the wall to the left of the bed is an Extinguished Torch. Take it. Inbetween the two windows is a Hook. Take that as well.

Back out to the Palatial Room.

Palatial Room

Talk with the king. Feel free to skip the ensuing cutscene and interact with him twice to get the King's Flowers and the Sun Stone.

On the couch on the left is a purple pillow. Interact with it then zoom in on the book that was underneath it. Then interact with the book and take the wooden triangle, a Puzzle Part (1/5).

Use the extinguished torch with the fireplace to get the lit torch.

Go into the Queen's Quarters.

Queen's Quarters

There is a section of books missing in the bookcase at the back left. Walk up to it.

Use the Sun Stone here.

For this puzzle, you will need to connect the same symbol with non-intersecting lines. It's fairly straightforward but here are the steps for each color. The directions assume you always start from the left-most shape on the board.

Puzzle 1:
  • Orange bird:
    1. Up (x2).
    2. Right (x2).
    3. Down.
  • Black feather:
    1. Down.
    2. Right (x3).
    3. Up.
  • Blue bird:
    1. Right all the way.

Once all three are done the bookcase will open. Go up to the new doorway. Use the Lit Torch on the cobwebs.

You may now enter the Old Tower Stairs. Do so.

On the rock wall on the right, near some grass is a Healer Sigil (4/31).

Next, there are 5 groups of straw circled in the photo below. Grab them and use them with the bird's nest.

Grab the baby bird on the stairway, circled in black, and put it in the nest.

One of the birds will abandon it's family the instant you helped create the joyful, tear-jerking reunion and join you on your quest.

A butterfly (1/6) will land on the branch. Interact with it.

Use your new bird companion (using Guide for Grim Legends 2: Song of the Dark Swan (22)) to grab the Ribbon on the top of the screen above the bird's nest. This will unlock:

Now follow the steps to the Tower Prison Wall.

Tower Prison Wall

Interact with the leaves in the middle of the wall to move them out of your way.

Walk up to the glowing part of the wall. There are a few rocks you will need to interact with, shown below:

Skip the cutscene.

Back out.

On two blue flowers on the left and right of the screen are two butterflies (3/6), interact with them.

On the square support beam on the left is a Healer's Sigil (5/31) it is formed from the vines, near the top.

Directly across on the other beam is a Wooden Castle, grab it. If you're having trouble finding it, it's behind one of the leaves.

Walk up to the wall again.

Use the King's Flowers on the Queen. She will hand you a metal heart (the Queen's Heart). Take it.

Back out all the way to the Queen's Chambers.

Queen's Chambers

Go up to the front of the bed.

Before proceeding read the following procedure for the upcoming mini-game. You will want to complete this in under a minute for an achievement. It's a very quick mini-game but you will want to know what you are doing before you begin.

Interact with the heart shape and use the metal heart the queen just gave you.

There are three wheels with different colored gems on them. You will need to turn them so they are in a certain alignment. The three wheels will be labeled as left, right and bottom. If you need to turn them counterclockwise it will be marked as "CCW' (by pressing Guide for Grim Legends 2: Song of the Dark Swan (27) and if it has to be turned clockwise it will be labeled as "CC" Guide for Grim Legends 2: Song of the Dark Swan (28). They must be adjusted in the following order:

  • Bottom
    • CCW.
  • Right
    • CCW (x4).

The panel will open up. Examine the items inside. You will grab 3 Nettle Shirts, read a piece of paper and then grab a Knife.

This will pop an achievement if you managed to do it in under a minute:

  • That was quick

    You finished any Mini-Game in less than 1 minute.

Back out to the Palatial Room.

Palatial Room

In the back right of the room, next to the back-most door is a table. Go up to it.

Use the red ribbon on the statue here. A drawer will open. Grab the piece of jewelry inside (the Right Wing).

Next to the stature is a torn piece of wallpaper. Interact with that three times to reveal some drawings. Interact with them.

Back in the room, walk up to the door in the back of the room.

Interact with the cloud in the opening and use the toy castle we found earlier with the picture. A mini-game will begin. Interact with the following:

  • Scene 1
    1. The goose in the river.
    2. The eagle.
  • Scene 2
    1. The black cauldron.
    2. The log.
    3. The gold necklace.
  • Scene 3
    1. The dead tree on the right.
    2. The black cloud in the top left.
    3. Castle door.
  • Scene 4
    1. The people.
    2. The people again who are now in the boat.
    3. The people a third time in the boat.
  • Scene 5
    1. Creepy lady in-front of the castle.
    2. Creepy lady when she gets closer.
    3. Interact with the middle symbol.

Assuming you've been following along and you are not skipping any mini-games, you will have unlocked:

Back out of the puzzle. This will unlock the door to the Castle Hall. Go in there.

Castle Hall

To the right of the painting of the king and queen, down the hall near the roof, is a Healer's Sigil (6/31).

Zoom in on the bottom of the painting. Interact with the medallion to take it.

Over to the right above the posterboard is a shield. Zoom on it. If you're having trouble finding it, it's in between the knight and the leftmost torch on the wall.

Use the hook with the shield on the wall. It will fall on the ground. Pick it up.

Zoom in on the bird cage. Interact with the hanging chain, then the bell. The bird will come over and eat all the bird food. A Box Part (it looks like a little white cork) will be revealed and roll out of the container. Grab it.

Back out all the way to the bedroom.

The Bedroom

Open the chest again. Interact with the yellow socks and the green shoes. Use the Chest Emblem with the stone at the bottom of the chest. It will open up to reveal a blue jewel (the Left Wing).

Zoom in on the stone carving to the right of the chest. Use the Shield Emblem to open a secret door. Walk through this to start another puzzle.

Do the following:

  • Grab the hooked weight at the bottom right of the fountain (looks like a statue, it's in the back-center).
  • Use the hooked weight with the hanging rope.
  • Grab the broom next to the chest on the left.
  • Use the broom with the cobwebs directly above where you found the broom.
  • Interact with the rope on the other side of the room.
  • Some bats will drop the valve handle in the middle of the room. Grab it.
  • Use the valve handle with the "I" on the top of the fountain. This will give you the origami figure.
  • Use the origami figure with the hanging rope that is above the fountain.
  • On the right side of the room, just above what looks to be a shield on leaning against the wall, is a pick. Take it.
  • Zoom in on the "X" on the ground. Interact with the hole in the ground and use the pick we just got. Pick up the two stones underneath the floor.
  • Use the two stones with the two holes in the bottom of the fountain.
  • Take the sword and shield from the fountain.
  • Zoom in on the chest.
  • Use the sword on the left knight and the shield on the right knight. Interact with the latch in the middle to open the chest.

You will then get the Stone Diadem.

Go back to the Castle Hall, through the Palatial Room.

Castle Hall

Go up to the door down the hall. Use the two jewels (the left and right wings) to reach another puzzle.

For this one, you will have to rearrange some circles to fill in the picture. There are 6 slots and 5 circles. The slots are numbers such: The top three are 1-3, the middle 3 are 4-6 and the bottom three are 7-9. There is only one empty slot at one time, thus only one direction to move any slot. For example, at the beginning, slot 2 is empty. If I say "slot 3" that means press Guide for Grim Legends 2: Song of the Dark Swan (38) on slot 3 which will move it into the empty slot.

To clear up how the slots are numbered, here is a picture:

Select the slots in the following order:

Garden

Skip the cutscene.

On the left side of the screen is a butterfly (4/6).

On the right side of the screen near the stairs going up is a hedge sculpture which is actually a Healer Sigil (7/31).

Zoom in on the statue at the bottom of the stars. Use the Stone Diadem on the statue's head, where there is an indent.

Something will drop. Walk up to the statue for yet another hidden objects puzzle. Click on the following:

And once again, some objects are hidden behind other objects, so sometimes two presses of Guide for Grim Legends 2: Song of the Dark Swan (45) is needed.

The will give us the Water Necklace.

In the back right is the entrance to the Royal Arbor. Go there.

Royal Arbor

Skip the cutscene. There are three butterflies (5-7/6) here. One to the left of the king on some branches. One in the bottom left on some leaves. The third on the bottom right on some leaves.

This should pop:

To the right of the king, there is a metal barrier. The pattern on the barrier is a Healer Sigil (8/31).

Talk with the king, then interact with him. You will grab the Eye.

Zoom in on the box that is on the table on the right side. Time for another puzzle.

There are three crests and three rollers. One roller is missing on the bottom. Use the box part we got out of the birdcage with this puzzle.

Interact with the crests in the following order:

  1. Top-left (x3).
  2. Bottom (x3).
  3. Top-right (x3).

The box will unlatch. Interact with the center and you will get a second triangular piece (2/5).

Back out to The Garden.

Garden

In between the Royal Arbor entrance the statue is the entrance to the Shorline. Go there.

Shoreline

At the end of the branches in the tree at the top left is a Healer Sigil (9/31).

Partway down the dock are some flowers growing. Zoom in on them. Interact with the flowers and the two sets of grass to reveal an opening. There will be another Triangular Piece (3/5). Take it.

Press Guide for Grim Legends 2: Song of the Dark Swan (51) to use the bird, and use it on the rag that is waving in the wind above the building at the end of the dock to get the Rag.

Zoom in on the door of the aforementioned building. Interact with the three glass leaves covering circular indent. Use the Eye you received from the king on this indent to open the door.

Enter the building (it is labeled as "Shed").

Shed

Walk up to the window on the left side.

Interact with the butterfly (8/6).

Time for a puzzle. Same deal as the last puzzle, but be sure to be quick here you'll need to find 3 of them within three seconds:

If you pulled off finding three in three seconds you will unlock:

  • One per second

    You found 3 hidden-objects within 3 seconds.

The puzzle should have given you Stevia Leaves.

There is also a Healer Sigil (10/31) on the barrel on the ground.

There is a barrel full of sugar cane (looks like Bamboo) under the window we were just at. Interact with it to take some and get Sugar Cane.

Interact with the Oars on the back wall to take them too.

Next, zoom in on the machine on the workbench in the back-right.

There is a chute on the left side of the machine. Put the Sugar Cane in there then interact with the wheel on the right side of the machine. Next, take one of the cinnamon sticks to the left of the machine and then take the bowl at the bottom of the machine that is now filled, Molasses will now be in your inventory.

After this walk up to the chemistry setup on the same workbench. It's more towards the foreground than the other machine.

  • Use the Stevia Leaves we got from the puzzle in the grey bowl on the left.
  • Then use the Cinnamon we took with it too.
  • After this, take the mortar (the cigar-shaped rock behind the bowl) and use it on the bowl.
  • Grab the frying pan at the back right and put it on the bunsen burner.
  • Pick up the bowl with the grounded up spices in it.
  • Use the Molasses we got from the machine on the frying pan.
  • Grab a match and light the bunsen burner.
  • Then add in the Ground Spices.
  • Grab the frying pan and use it with the muffin tray on the right.
  • Pick the Caramel Candies from the tray.

Back out to the garden then take the stairs on the right up to go to the foot of the tower.

Foot of the Tower

Skip the cutscene.

Next to the bench on the corner of the castle wall, there is a window, which holds a Healer Sigil (11/31).

Use the bird to interact with the piece of paper up in the tree.

There is a butterfly (9/6) on the right side of the bench.

Zoom in on the hole in the tree. You can grab another triangular piece (4/5).

To the right is someone laying in the grass face down. Zoom in on them. Interact with the Golden Feather that falls near them twice to pick it up. The first time you will just check the person's pulse. Next, zoom in on the scroll and use the Knife on the seal. Zoom in again on the now-open scroll and take the blue Gem.

Back out to the garden.

Garden

Go up to the statue. Use the Water Necklace on the indent in the statue's neck. Then use the gem on the necklace. Water will now be flowing from the statue. Zoom in on the base of the statue. Grab the Small Pot.

Go back to the foot of the tower.

Zoom in on the hole in the tree again. Use the Small Pot on the resin dripping in the tree for the Pot of Resin.

Back out to the garden again and go to the Royal Arbor on the left.

Talk to the king, you will tell him about the dead body and he will vanish into thin air.

Zoom in on the stone podium in the back. On the podium is a pot. Use the golden feather on the golden pot here. This will trigger a cutscene.

Skip it.

The back side of the podium will open up and reveal the final triangular piece (5/5).

Back out to the garden then return to the foot of the tower.

Foot of the Tower

Walk up to the bench. Puzzle time. Again. Yay!

First of all, use the Puzzle Parts on the puzzle here. The puzzle is randomized every time but here is a picture of the completed puzzle:

I recommend working your way from left to right.

The puzzle will open up to show a compartment with some stuff in it. Interact with the sack on the left. Interact with the eye and grab the key near it (to its bottom right).

Back out to the Garden then go back to the shed (from the Garden go straight to the shoreline then into the shed).

Shed

Walk up to the chemistry workstation again.

Use the Pot of Resin on the bunsen burner. Then pick it back up.

Back out to the Shoreline.

Shoreline

Next to the boat is a dish. Zoom in on it.

Put the Caramel Candies in the can.

Zoom in on the boat. There is a hole in the boat. Use the Rag with the hole.

Use the oar with the oar holder (the metal "U" shaped object in the bottom right.

Use the Hot Resin with the rag in the hole.

There is a chain hooked up on the boat. Look at the dock near the boat and the chain is hooked to a lock. Zoom in on it and use the Boat Key with the lock.

The bird that abandoned its family apparently remembered it's supposed to be taking care of its partner and child, so it ditches you to take care of them. So get on the boat and sail to the Wild Islands without your dear friend.

Skip the cutscene. You will also unlock an achievement:

Underwater

Interact with the wreckage above you a few times until you are pulled out of the water.

Wild Islands

On the side of the wrecked boat is a Healer Sigil (12/31).

Zoom in on the front of the boat. Take the oar to the right of the boat.

Zoom in on the mossy rock on the right of the path. Use the oar in between the two rocks. You will reveal a dead body. Grab the Golden Feather near it and the amulet (Inner Swan Amulet) he is wearing. Back out of this.

Go forward to the Island Grove.

Near the middle of the screen in-between some tree roots is a Healer Sigil (13/31).

Zoom in on a familiar looking stone podium. Use the Golden Feather on the golden urn again.

Skip the cutscene. The back of the podium will open up and you grab the Teal Crystal.

Zoom in on the river. Grab the Clam Shell in the bottom left.

Back out to the Wild Islands.

Wild Islands

Over to the right is a fishing net. Go up to it.

Another puzzle, where we help a poor sea otter. Use the Sea Shell on the ropes here to free them up.

You will want to arrange the colored buoys in the following positioning:

Once that is done, pick up the Net. Interact with the otter. You have a new companion and this time you aren't an involuntary homewrecker!

Return to Island Grove.

Island Grove

Zoom in on the log in the river and use the otter (Guide for Grim Legends 2: Song of the Dark Swan (64)) on the log. This will bring the log to the shore and unlock:

Now you can cross the river to the big island shore. Do so.

Bigger Island Shore

To the right of the door on the left is a butterfly (9/6).

At the top of the screen above the crumbling wall is a Healer Sigil (14/31).

Walk up to the door on the left. Grab the Blue Crystal on the top right.

Over on the right, there is an Orange Crystal. Zoom in and pick it up.

Zoom in on the mossy wall in the back. Put the teal crystal in the middle, orange crystal on the left and the blue crystal on the right. They will then start glowing. Interact with them in the following order:

  1. Blue.
  2. Teal.
  3. Orange.
  4. Blue.

Skip the cutscene.

Enter the burned down house.

Skip the cutscene.

On the fallen tree to the right is a butterfly (10/6).

Just below this tree in some plants is a Healer Sigil (15/31).

There is a cellar door near the house. Zoom in on it. Take the Brush at the foot of the door. Use the net on the branch at the top right. Take this to get the Landing Net.

Next to the doorway is the house itself. Walk up to it. This will be another hidden object puzzle. Grab the following:

This will give you the Outer Swan Amulet.

Zoom in on the box below the well. Interact with the moss a few times to reveal an indentation for an object. Use the Outer Swan Amulet in the indent. Then use the Inner Swan Amulet.

The chest will open. Take the key and the book that are inside. Back out.

Zoom in on the plant in the bottom right of the screen (the plant with the little red cherry-looking fruits). Take the fungus. Back out to the bigger island shore.

Bigger Island Shore

Walk up to the door on the left.

Use the Little Key on the lock. The door will open revealing a maze. Use the Brush on the moss that is covering part of the maze to remove the moss.

You will need to move the figure from the starting position to the bottom right. It is a simple maze, but here is the solution:

The door will open. You may now enter it to reach the cavern and unlock an achievement:

On the left side by some fungus is a Healer Sigil (16/31). This will also nab you another achievement:

In the water underneath is a fish stuck on a saw blade. Zoom in on it. Use the Landing Net with the fish and then grab the Saw Blade.

In the back is a wall with a hole in it. Zoom in on this. Move the rubble covering part of the whole. There is a wooden handle. Use the Saw Blade with it to make the Wood Saw.

Back out to the Big Island Shore.

There is a branch at the top right next to a hanging vine. Zoom in on the branch. Use the Wood Saw on it. Then take the Sturdy Branch.

Go to the Cavern.

Cavern

To the left of the hole in the wall is a pile of rubble. Zoom in on it.

Take the cup to the right. Then use the Sturdy Branch with the pickaxe head to get the Pickaxe. Make sure to pick it up.

Zoom in on the hole in the wall. Interact with the large block just above the whole and you will use the Pickaxe to make the hole bigger. You may now enter the basem*nt.

Basem*nt

Over on the right in the pile of junk and plants is a Healer Sigil (17/31).

Towards the back of the room is a man lying on the ground. Walk up to him and he will give you the Dragon Statue. Take that from his hand and the Gold Feather from his arm.

Zoom in on the back wall. On the top right of this stone tablet is some melted wax. Take it.

Interact with the cabinet on the right to open it up and zoom in on it. Use our friend the otter on the rat and then take the Truffles.

Zoom in to underneath the cabinet on the left. On the trees on the right is a rope, grab it. Back out.

Zoom in on the top ladder. Take the Steel holding the doors together then go outside the Burned Down House.

Burned Down House

Give the Truffles to the boar on the left and it will back off. Take the new path to the bridge.

Bridge

On the right wall of the bridge is a Healer Sigil (18/31).

On the left wall, there is a gap. Walk up to that for another hidden object puzzle. Here are the objects:

You will be awarded the Wolf Statue.

Zoom in on the other side of the broke bridge. At the edge of the side that you are on, there are some Twigs on the right. Take them. Back out.

Off to the right of the bridge is some land in the middle of the river. Zoom in on it. Use the otter (Guide for Grim Legends 2: Song of the Dark Swan (81)) on the "X" on the ground. There will be the Eagle Statue Half in the new hole. Take it.

Back out to outside the burned down house, enter the basem*nt door, then back out to the cavern.

Cavern

Towards the bottom of the screen are some rocks in the water. Walk up to them for a Find Objects puzzle.

You must find all the pearls.

This will award you with pearls. Shocking.

As long as you have not been using hints, this will pop:

Next, zoom in on the familiar looking podium. It's just above the grassy area on the left. As usual, use the Golden Feather with the pot on the left.

Skip the cutscene.

The back will open up as usual. Grab the Stag Statue.

Enter the basem*nt.

Basem*nt

Walk up to the contraption on the wall on the left above the cabinet. Move the cobwebs out of your way. Then interact with the contraption and use the Pearls we got. The red and purple pearls must be separated such that each color fills a side. So only purple on the right and only red on the left.

This puzzle appears to be randomized each time, but simply make sure you are always moving two of each color to the opposite side each time you spin the middle wheel. When that is done then interact with the handle.

The contraption will open up and you can take the Bear Statue.

Exit up the ladder to go outside the burned down house, back out twice to the shoreline.

Shoreline

Underneath the tree is a little area and something at the end of it. Zoom in on it to find some hideous little monster. There is some kind of purple slime dripping on the right side. Use the Eagle Statue Half on it to get the Sticky Eagle Statue Half.

Back out and return to the bridge (go forward to the burned down house and then take the path off to the left where the boar was).

Bridge

On the left is a building. Interact with the moss on it to reveal a doorway. Walk up to it.

Use your four and a half statues (Stag Statue, Bear Statue, Raccoon Statue, Dragon Statue and Stick Eagle Statue Half).

You will now need to move the statues into their proper positions. Underneath each animal is now a foot print. Each statue must be paired with it's corresponding foot print. Move the following statues in this order.

  1. Bear.
  2. Stag.
  3. Raccoon.
  4. Eagle.
  5. Dragon.
  6. Stag.

This will open up a new path to the underground passage. Climb down.

Underground Passage

It is far too dark to see much, but there is a lantern. Zoom in on it.

Use the Tinder Fungus with the rock near the base of the lantern. Use the Twigs with the Tinder Fungus.

Just above it at the top is a rock you can interact with. Use the Steel on it. A fire should light.

Use the Steel Cup with the fire.

Interact with the Steel Cup and use the Candle Wax then the Twine. Interact with it again to get the Candle.

Use the Candle Wax with the Steel Cup. Then use the Twine. Pick it up to get the Candle. Use the Candle with the fire, then use the Lit Candle with the Lamp. Take the Lamp and use it with the dark hallway. Your cursor will now light up the blackness.

Find the end of the tunnel and go to the Forest Hut.

On the left front corner of the hut, just under the roof, is a Healer's Sigil (19/31).

Zoom in on the roses in the grass just below the house. Another Find Objects puzzle. Here is the solution:

You will receive the Door Handle.

Walk over to the waterfall in the back right.

Pick up the Wet Bandage. Back up.

Zoom in on the shore that is near the base of the tree on the right. Grab the Stone Key (1/2) in the bottom right. It looks like a little wheel.

Walk up to the door of the hut. Interact with the circular latch. Interact with the screw that is revealed. Use the Door Handle with the screw. Then enter the Forest Hut Interior.

Above the fireplace near the ceiling is a Healer Sigil (20/31).

Zoom in to the left of the fireplace.

Grab the Frying Pan. Then interact with the items here until you pick up the Blunt Scissors. Back out.

Move up to the fireplace. Use the Frying Pan on the grate that is above the fire. Then use the Wet Bandage on the Frying Pan and take it back to get the Bandage. Back out.

Zoom in on the mantle above the fireplace.

Grab the Sponge from the bowl.

Before leaving zoom in on the injured man. Interact with his wounded arm.

Back out to the outside of the Forest Hut.

Zoom in on the shoreline again, near the tree.

Use the Sponge on the water to get the Wet Sponge. Back up.

Zoom in on the woodpile on the left side of the hut. Grab the Gloves off of the grindstone.

Turn on the grindstone using the black lever on the side of the wheel. Use the Blunt Scissors with the grindstone to get the Sharp Scissors. Back up.

Zoom in on the red flowers in the grass for a Find Objects puzzle.

You will then get Healing Herbs.

Go into the Forest Hut Interior.

Zoom in on the mantle above the fireplace. Use the Healing Herbs with the mortar and pestle. Grab the pestle and use it on the Healing Herbs and then collect them.

Zoom in on the hurt person. Time for some first aid.

  • Use the Scissors on his injured arm.
  • Interact with the arm to remove the sleeve.
  • Use the Wet Sponge on the arm.
  • Use the Crushed Herbs on the arm.
  • Use the Bandage on the arm.
  • Grab the Study Key.

Walk up to the door on the left side of the room. Use the Study Key on the keyhole and then interact with it to unlock the door.

This will begin the puzzle.

Rotate the wheel as such:

  1. CW (x3).
  2. CCW.
  3. CW (x2).

The puzzle may be randomized, so just in-case, the puzzle works as follows:

Every CW turn moves it 3 spaces. Every CCW turn moves it 2 spaces. You will need to move the wheel such that all the pieces are colored in. Mess with the pattern until you get it.

This will open the to the Forest Hut Study. Enter.

Over on the window, there is a Healer Sigil (21/31).

Zoom in on the cradle on the right side of the room. Take the baby and take the Bear Tooth that was underneath the baby. And that's an achievement:

Go over to the right for a Find and Use puzzle.

  • Grab the Letter Opener off the table.
  • Then grab the letter up in the top left and open it up. Grab the item that falls out.
  • Interact with the left cabinet. Grab the butterfly and gavel when it opens.
  • Use the butterfly on the top left square at the top of the screen.
  • Interact with the crystal ball and use the gavel on it. Take the item from inside.
  • Use this new item on the bottom left (where we used a similar item).
  • Take the other butterfly that is revealed. Use it on the top right space next to the first butterfly.
  • Take the green ball that pops up in the top middle.
  • Use the green ball on the eye of the metal dragon in the middle.
  • Take the item from the open mouth.

This will give you the Bait.

Zoom in on the stuffed bear on the left side of the room. Use the Bear Tooth with the bear's mouth and grab the Stone Key (2/2). Back out to the Forest Hut Interior.

On the right side of the room on top of the bed the guy was on, is a Golden Feather. Take it and back out to the outside.

Zoom in on the shore again.

Use the bait and then the otter on the fish. Your friend the otter will grab the Red Herring for you and then subsequently abandon you.

Zoom in on the waterfall. Use the Stone Keys on the interface here.

There are five rollers here that need to be moved to form a picture.

For the first puzzle, each roller is separate, but for the second and third pictures moving one roller will move another one. For these, it is a matter of making slight adjustments in each roller to get all the pieces to line up. Make sure the leftmost roller lines up with the fixed part of the picture. The only problematic puzzle is the third one, here is a video in case you get stuck:

When that is done the panel will open. Inside is a book, open it, and take the Dark Swan Token on the bottom right of the page. Back out of the waterfall and head into the Forest Hut Interior.

Zoom in on the fireplace once again. Use the Red Herring on the frying pan. When it is cooked, take it to receive the Fried Fish.

Back out to the bridge.

Bridge

There is now a troll in between the two parts of the bridge. Use the Fried Fish with the troll.

Zoom in on the path off to the left side of the bridge again. Another Find Objects puzzle. The solution is below. Just one note, for the Red Feather, you will need to grab the feather that the troll is holding and dip it in the red paint, then take it. I have shown this in the picture with a black circle and arrow.

Upon completion, you will be given the Rope.

Go back to the Forest Hut.

Zoom in on the woodpile to the left of the hut. You will see some wood to the right of the grindstone, use the Rope on it. Then take it to get the Improvised Bridge. Back out to the bridge.

Bridge

Zoom in on the gap in the bridge and use the Improvised Bridge. Take the new bridge to the Forest.

Over in the grass on the left is Healer Sigil (22/31).

On the tree on the left side, towards the top, is a bug. Walk up to.

Use the gloves on the vines here. Time for a puzzle. Below is a picture of where the various objects need to be moved, along with a text description.

  • Take the flower from the mouse on the right, move the green leaf on the left and place it there.
  • On the left panel, move the leaves at the top. Grab the gold ribbon at the bottom-middle and place it in the new space.
  • On the right side of the fire in the middle is a yellow piece that can be removed. Take that and place it in the red and yellow faerie (looks like the "bug" we walked up to) to the left.
  • Below this is a green oval piece. Take it and place it in the bottom right.
  • Take the pipe that is sitting in the very top left and place it above the fire in the man's mouth.
  • Take the green piece in the bottom right and place it on the stem of the red and yellow plant on the left.
  • Just below the man's hand is another object. Take it and place it at the top, above the mouse.

The panel will open. Look at the scroll and take the object, the Bellows Handle that is inside.

Over on the right is the stone podium again. Same deal as earlier, walk up to it and put the Gold Feather in the pot. Skip the cutscene and take the Peaco*ck Token.

Back out to the bridge, go to the Forest Hut Study.

Zoom in on the cabinet next to the bear. Interact with the metal plate in the middle and use the Peaco*ck Token and then the Dark Swan Token. The cabinet will open.

Take the glass ball (called the Bellows Vial). Back out of the cabinet and zoom in on the puzzle from earlier on the right. Time for another puzzle.

  • Take the metal dragon's jaw piece.
  • Place it in the left panel on the cabinet on the right. Take the fly and spider from here.
  • Place the fly in the bottom right spot up top and place spider in the hanging wood piece with the spider indent.
  • A panel will open in the top right. Take the item here.
  • Place this new item in the right panel on the right cabinet. Take the two items in here.
  • Place one in the last remaining spot at the top, then the other item in the center of these four panels.
  • The dragon wing will have opened up. Take the item in here.

This will award you with the Bellows Pipe. Back out to the Forest Hut Interior.

Zoom in on the cabinet underneath the left wall. Interact with the circular object next to the brush and combine it with the Bellows Handle, the Bellows Vial, move the brush, then use the Bellows Pipe. This will give you the Empty Bellows.

Back out and return to the Forest, across the bridge.

Zoom in on the bottom of the tree. Interact with the gas here and use the Empty Bellows to get the One-Quarter Full Bellows.

Back out to the Burned Down House.

Zoom in on the cherry-like plant on the bottom right. Use the One-Quarter Full Bellows and get the Half-Full Bellows.

Back out to the Big Island Shore.

Big Island Shore

Zoom in on the base of the tree on the right. Use your Half-Full Bellows on the gas for the Three-Quarters Full Bellows.

Back out all the way to the beginning of the wild islands.

Wild Islands

Zoom in on the broken swan boat. Use the Three-Quarters Full Bellows on the gas here for the Full Bellows.

Now go forward once to the Island Grove.

Zoom on the area beneath the tree again. Use the Full Bellows on our little monster hanging out down here. He will dissolve. Grab the item, Fairy Dust, that was behind him.

Up on the tree is the red and yellow bug, one of the Faeries we helped out earlier. Zoom in on it and use the Fairy Dust on it. Grab the Princess Figure behind it in the tree.

You are now a homewrecker turned home savior. You've saved the Home Tree of this Forest Spirit. He'll come with you.

Go forward a few times to the Burned Down House, then down into the Basem*nt.

Basem*nt

Zoom in on the spot on the bottom of the cabinet on the left side of the room.

Use the Princess Figure on the board here.

You have to cover every space and get to the end. Use this picture to get you through:

The panel will open up. Grab the Dark Castle Key from the shirt made of leaves, then pick that up too (Nettle Shirt 4). Back out of the panel.

You need to get back to the Forest.

Go up the ladder, then to the left to get back to the bridge, then cross the bridge.

Forest

Interact with the vines using your new spirit friend (by using Guide for Grim Legends 2: Song of the Dark Swan (96)). The vines will open a path to the Castle Gate. Follow it to get an achievement:

Castle Gate

On the top left of the gate, underneath the swan statue, is a Healer Sigil (23/31).

Zoom in on the group of plants that are below the Healer Sigil on the ground. This will take you to a Find Objects puzzle.

This will award you with the Gate Lock.

Walk up to the gate. Interact with the blank spot on the top right of the gate panel, and use the Gate Lock. Then use the Dark Castle Key on it.

This will open a puzzle. This puzzle is random each time, but the idea is that there is a small horizontal golden key piece that needs to be moved all the way to the right. Move the other pieces around to create a path for the golden key piece to get there.

Once that is done, the gate will open. Enter the Courtyard.

Courtyard

Up in the tree, in the top-center of the screen, is a Healer Sigil (24/31).

Zoom in on the chest in front of the statue. Grab the Wrench on the chest. Back out of that.

Zoom in on the skeleton on the right side of the screen. Grab the Gobblet (1/3) from its hand. Back out of that.

Zoom in on the trunk of the tree to the right. Use the Fairy (Guide for Grim Legends 2: Song of the Dark Swan (102)) on the tree. Then follow this down to the Campfire.

Campfire

At the top of the screen, to the left of the swan statue in the background is a Healer Sigil (25/31).

Zoom in on the grate on the left, near the tombstone. Grab the Gobblet (2/3).

Zoom in on the man-bird-statue. Grab the red Fountain Crystal at its feet.

Zoom in on the table below the swan statue. Grab the Tongs from here.

Back out to the Courtyard.

Courtyard

Zoom in on the statue. Use the Fountain Crystal with the statue.

It will drop something into the fountain. Zoom in on the fountain. Use the Wrench on the valves here.

This will reveal a red hot swan statue, use the tongs with it. This will give you the Hot Swan.

Return down the tree, to the Campfire.

Campfire

Zoom in on the barrels in the center. Use the Hot Swan with the water in the barrel. This will give you the White Swan.

Walk up to the open container in the back (being held by the statue of the lady).

There is an emblem indent. Interact with it and put the White Swan there.

Another puzzle! This time, it is a jigsaw puzzle. Below is a picture of the puzzle. If you are having trouble, just start with the straight pieces that belong on the sides of the picture and work your way to the middle.

The panel will open up. Grab the Diadem (the silver crown-looking thing) and the Gobblet (3/3). Also, make sure to interact with the gold statue and then read the plaque that was behind it.

Back out of the panel and zoom in on the barrel in the middle of the room. Interact with the water and use the Gobblet. You will receive Full Goblets.

Walk up to the stone table in the back. Use the Full Goblets on the table.

Puzzle time.

For this puzzle, you will need to interact with each goblet in the proper order. I will refer to them as Gobblet 1, 2, 3, and 4 from left to right.

Pattern 1:

  • Goblet 1.
  • Goblet 4.
  • Goblet 3.
  • Goblet 2.

Pattern 2:

  • Goblet 3.
  • Goblet 1.
  • Goblet 2.

This will open up a new path to the Cemetery, back out and enter the new path.

Skip the cutscene.

To the left of the stairs, just below the door, is a Healer Sigil (26/31).

To the left of the stairs further down is a swan. Zoom in on it. Interact with the branches to free it. Use the Nettle Shirts on it, and for some reason, it will turn into a child.

Take the Golden Feather from him, and the Elevator Lever. Back away from him, and zoom in on the grate that is on the bottom right of the stairs, below the swan statue.

Use the Elevator Lever on the grate then interact with it to drop the elevator down.

To the right of the elevator is a patch of grass and flowers. Walk up to it for a Find Objects puzzle.

This will give you the Elevator Parts.

Now walk up to the elevator. Interact with the panel and use the Elevator Parts. What needs to happen is that all of the red gears need to be linked from the spinning gear on the left to the top right. Below is a picture of the completed puzzle.

Take the elevator up to the Observatory.

Observatory

By the shelves at the top right, in the spider webs is a Healer Sigil (27/31).

Pick up the Candelabrum on the table on the left.

Zoom in on the ladder. Move the broken step and grab the Cog behind it and the Cloth next to it. Back away.

Open the book on the table and take the Crossbow String inside.

Go back twice to get back to the Campfire.

Campfire

Zoom in on the Bird-Man Statue. On the bottom left is a green gem. Zoom in on that, use Cloth on it and then pick it up.

Back away and out to the Courtyard.

Courtyard

Zoom in on the evil tree face. Use the Candelabrum and take the Aorta (the heart) from inside its mouth.

Zoom in on the chest on the left. Interact with the face of the chest (there is an imprint of a cog). Use the Cog with it and open the chest. Take the Nails.

Back away and go to the Campfire by climbing down the tree.

Zoom in on the grate over on the left.

Use the Aorta on the red spot at the top right then interact with it. After the Aorta is buried, use the Fairy on it (Guide for Grim Legends 2: Song of the Dark Swan (106)). A tree will grow and open the grate and you will be able to go down to the Dungeon. Go down there.

Dungeon

There are two doors. To the right of the left door is a rectangular hole in the wall, grab the Windlass in here.

Back out to the Campfire then go to the Cemetery then take the elevator up to the Observatory.

Observatory

Zoom in on the ladder. Interact with the loose ladder rung and use the nails on it. Now take the Ladder.

Now back out a few times to the Forest, the place just before the Castle Gate.

Forest

Zoom in on the tree on the right that's covered in vines, and use the Ladder. Then take the Arrow out of the tree. Go back to the Courtyard through the Castle Gate.

Courtyard

Zoom in on the skeleton. Use the Bowstring, Windlass, interact with the crossbow, then use the Crossbow Bolt. Then take the Crossbow.

Climb down the tree to the Campfire and make your way forward to the elevator to get back to the Observatory.

Observatory

Use the Crossbow on the spider.

With the spider gone, zoom in on the swan caught in the spiderweb and use the Shard. This will give you the Spider Silk.

Use the Nettle Shirt on the swan. It will turn into a child again. Take the Scroll the child hands you which will also give you a Golden Feather.

Back out to the Campfire then go down to the Dungeon.

Dungeon

Use the Dungeon Map on the doorway on the right. You will take it out. Take the following directions:

  1. Go left.
  2. Use the lever to the right of the left gate to open it. Then go left.
  3. You will enter an identical room. On the right is a few pieces of wood. Interact with it and use the lever behind it. Go right.
  4. Go right.
  5. Here there is no lever. On the ground in front of the gate. Grab it and put it in the panel on the left side of the screen. Go right.

There will be a prompt to enter the Dungeon. The dungeon will now look different.

This will unlock an achievement:

Dungeon

In the middle of the room, in between the two staircases is a chain hanging down. At the top of the chain is a Healer Sigil (28/31).

On the left is a dragon statue. Go up to it.

Interact with the statue's face to get Shackles. Back away.

Interact with the metal ring at the end of the chain. On the wall next to it is a Smooth Stone. Take it. Use the Spider silk on the metal ring to form a rope. Then interact with the end of the rope, on the bottom right, and use the Shackles with it. Then take it to get the Spider Silk Rope.

Use the Spider Silk Rope on the tower to the right, then interact with it twice. The tower will fall. Walk up to the gargoyle statue that now laying in front of you on the right. This will start a Find Objects puzzle.

This will give you Gargoyle Runes.

Zoom in on the statue head over on the left, the one that you did before to get the Shackles.

Interact with one of the blank holes and use the Gargoyle Runes.

Here you will need to rearrange the runes. Rearrange them so they are in the positions shown in the picture below:

The gargoyle mouth will open. Take the Knight's Crest (it has a swan on it).

Back out all the way to the Castle Gate.

On the right is a knight statue holding a shield. Zoom in on it. There is an indent in the shield. Use the Knight's Crest on the shield. Then take the Spear. Return to the dungeon.

Dungeon

Go back to the gargoyle runes puzzle, and use the Spear on the gargoyle head. Lava will now be flowing from the gargoyle.

Zoom in on the cage suspended up near the top of the screen.

Interact with the keys. Then use Round Stone with the slingshot and pick it up.

The keys will now be glowing and floating in the air. Use the Slingshot with the keys. Walk up to the broken statue on the left, where they fell down. Time to find all the keys.

You will get the Key Ring.

Zoom in on the cage again and use the Key Ring with the lock, then interact with it to open the cage. Then use the Nettle Shirt with the swan. A child will again appear. Grab the Golden Feather.

Back out to the Campfire then go to the Cemetery, then up the elevator to the Observatory.

Observatory

Zoom in on the all too familiar stone podium. This time there are three pots. Use your three Golden Feathers with these pots. Each one will trigger a cutscene which you can skip.

The back panel will open. Take the Dark Magic Key that is there.

Zoom in on the chest on the right. Use the Dark Magic Key on the lock. Then interact with the chest to open it and walk up to it.

Open the three drawers on the left. Grab the Syringe in the bottom drawer, the Missing Ingredients Sketch (piece of paper) from the middle drawer and the Crucible from the top drawer. Back away and out of the Observatory to the Cemetery.

Cemetery

Walk up to the glowing group of plants on the right for a Find Objects puzzle.

You will be given the Grey Mushrooms.

Back out to the Campfire.

Campfire

The children you saved from the peaceful life of swans are now hanging out here. Zoom in on them and use the Missing Ingredients Sketch on them. They will give you Seeds.

Return to the Cemetery.

Cemetery

Zoom in on the bushes to the left of the staircase.

Use the seeds on the hole. Interact with the now covered hole use the Fairy (Guide for Grim Legends 2: Song of the Dark Swan (119)) on it. Air Flowers will grow. Pick them.

Back up to the Campfire.

Campfire

Zoom in on the children again and take the Star Anise from them. Back up to the Courtyard.

Courtyard

Walk up to the fountain. Use the Crucible on the lava. This will give you Lava.

Back up to the Castle Gate.

Castle Gate

Interact with the red plant on the left wall. Use the Syringe on the red plant to get Magic Juice.

You are about to encounter a Find Objects puzzle. The objective here is to get it done in 30 seconds. Read the descriptions below and familiarize yourself with the screenshot below. You may have gotten this on any number of puzzles throughout the game, but if not, here is a great opportunity.

Walk up to the plants on the ground on the left.

The puzzle begins.

This will give you the Magic Herb.

If you were fast enough you will get:

  • Like a wind

    You finished Hidden Object Puzzle in less than 30 seconds.

Go forward to the Cemetary through the Courtyard and take the elevator up to the Observatory.

Observatory

Walk up to the cabinet on the right.

Use the following on the alchemy setup:

  • Air Flowers.
  • Star Anise.
  • Grey Mushrooms.
  • Lava.
  • Magic Juice.
  • Magic Herb.

Add the ingredients to the black pot in this order:

  • Magic Herb (bottom-left).
  • Grey Mushrooms (top-right).
  • Magic Juice (middle-right).
  • Star Anise (bottom-right).
  • Lava (top-left).
  • Air Flowers (middle-left).

Now grab the blue vial (Anti-magic elixir) to the left of the alchemy setup.

Back up to the Campfire.

Campfire

Walk up to the bird-man statue. Use the Anti-magic elixir on it. It will turn into a dark blue bird. Use the Nettle Shirt on it. It will turn into a man. Take the Peaco*ck Feather he gives you.

Return to the Cemetery.

Cemetery

At the top of the stairs is the man you saved. Walk up to him for a puzzle.

The table below shows how many times each box needs to be rotated counterclockwise.

This will open a portal. Your Forest Spirit friend can't come through a portal so he bails.

Interact with the portal and you will be back in the Castle Hall.

Castle Hall

Above the king sitting down is a Healer Sigil (29/31) on the wall.

Interact with the king. He will speak with you and go away. He will leave behind a Plush Eagle. Pick it up.

Down the hall a new door is open. Go through it to get to the Battlements.

Battlements

Zoom in on the door on the left. The lady behind it will give you a Spindle.

Back up to the Castle Hall.

Castle Hall

Zoom in on the bird cage. Use the Spindle on the lock. Interact with it and you will have now a new bird companion. Return to the Battlements.

Battlements

Above the door you went up to earlier on the left is a Healer Sigil (30/31) behind some bars.

On the right are the king and the creepy lady from the beginning of the game. Walk up to them.

Use the bird (Guide for Grim Legends 2: Song of the Dark Swan (126)) on the creepy lady and you will get another Peaco*ck Feather.

Back up to the Castle Hall again.

Castle Hall

Zoom in on the map above the birdcage.

Interact with it and behind it is a plack. Use the two Peaco*ck Feathers on the map. This will open up a new path on the right.

Take this to the Peaco*ck Lady's Hideout.

To the right of hanging white cloth, on the ceiling, is the final Healer Sigil (31/31).

Walk up to the desk in the back that has the book on it.

You will get the Golden Scissors.

Zoom in on the painting on the left above the baby. Use the Golden Scissors on the lady's face. Take the Wooden Relief (looks like a key) that was behind the painting.

Zoom in on the baby. Puzzle time.

Line up all the red circles so they are lined up in between the red candles as in the picture below.

Interact with the three blue circles and then the lit up blue candles.

Walk up to the baby and interact with it and give it the Plush Eagle. Then interact with the baby and take the other Wooden Relief that it was laying on top of.

Walk up to the wooden panel in the back. It's in between the painting and the desk with the first puzzle from this room.

Interact with one of the two indents and use the Wooden Relief with it.

This will activate another puzzle.

  • Take the snail looking creature from the bottom left and put it in the cage that's in the top right.
  • Grab the poison and give it to the lady at the table in the top left.
  • In the bottom right, interact with the red plant, and use it with the new hanging broken heart where the lady was.
  • Interact with the door in the top, near the center and bring that piece to the new hanging broken heart.
  • Take the golden eye in the bottom left and use it on the left sleeve of the new person in the picture that is facing the dinner scene.
  • Take the other eye from the glass bottle in the top right and use it on the right sleeve.
  • Take the unlit torch on the column to the left of the dinner table then use it on the flame in the bottom of the painting.
  • Use this lit torch on the torch holster to the right of the door.
  • Take the rope on the bottom left and use it on the wall in between the glass bottle and the door.
  • To the left of the door is a guy standing in the window. Interact with him to take his sword. Use it on the key to the left to get the key to drop.
  • Grab the key and use it on the door.
  • Take the green book the creepy lady is holding and use it on the guy that walked through the door.
  • Take the glass bottle of water in the top right and use it on the flames in the center.
  • Take the pot near the armor in the dining room and use it on the left of the flames.
  • Take the white flower from the dining room floor and use it on the knight and the lady in the bottom panel.
  • Take the flower from the window and give it to the knight and lady.
  • Grab the helmet and put it on the suit of armor.
  • Grab the item in the chest piece that opened up and give it to the creepy lady.

The panel will open and you can grab the item inside.

If you have never used a skip, then you will unlock:

  • Skip? Never!

    You finished all Mini-Games without skipping.

Move up to the desk with the book again. Another Find Objects puzzle. Fore the Soporific Shrooms and the Opened Letter you must open the drawer circled in red. For the Opened Letter you must take the knife (circled in red with the black arrow pointing to the drawer) and use it on the envelope that is inside the drawer.

This will give you the Soporific Shrooms.

If you still didn't use any hints you should unlock:

  • No crystal ball

    You finished all Hidden Object Puzzles without using hints.

Back out to the Castle Hall.

Use the Soporific Shrooms on the knights at the end of the hall. Continue to the Battlements.

Battlements

Walk up to where the king is. Use the Amulet of Evil Manifest with the knight standing next to the wood pile.

Skip the cutscene.

Interact with the king and queen.

Use the Diadem with the baby. Interact with the baby again.
